A Weekend of Cars, High-Octane Fun, and Community Spirit -HANGAR HANGOVER 2025

Updated: Jan 22

Roddy Merritt, the event host and head of Merritt Productions, reflected on this year's success, saying, "Every year, we try to raise the bar, and Hangar Hangover 2024 was no exception. The turnout, the energy, and the level of craftsmanship on display were nothing short of incredible. It’s all about bringing together car lovers and creating an experience that people remember."

Attendees Weigh In

For many attendees, The Hangar Hangover has become an annual tradition. Alex Rivers, a long-time participant, said, “This is more than just a car show. It’s about the people, the camaraderie, and the passion we all share for these machines. I’ve been coming here for five years, and it never disappoints.”

Spectator Sarah Thompson echoed those sentiments: "It’s a family event. I brought my kids, and they loved seeing all the classic cars. It’s one of those experiences that creates lasting memories."

A Showcase of Classic and Custom Cars

This year’s event featured an impressive lineup of cars, ranging from vintage classics to high-performance custom builds. From muscle cars to hot rods and imports, there was something for every kind of car enthusiast. The centerpiece of the show was the display of rare, restored vehicles that drew crowds throughout the weekend.

Roddy Merritt mentioned, "It’s always incredible to see the diversity of cars. The level of detail in some of these builds is mind-blowing. I love hearing the stories behind the cars – from their owners who’ve spent years restoring them to those who’ve built their dream ride from the ground up."

Highlights from the Event

One of the most talked-about moments was the live burnout competition, where drivers put their skills to the test, filling the air with the roar of engines and the smell of burning rubber. Another highlight was the charity auction, which raised funds for local organizations, reinforcing the community-centric nature of the event.

"Supporting the local community has always been a big part of The Hangar Hangover," Merritt added. "We’re proud to give back and use this platform to make a positive impact."

Looking Ahead to 2024

With Hangar Hangover 2024 in the books, there’s already excitement building for next year’s event. "We’ve got big plans for 2025," said Merritt. "This year was incredible, but we’re always looking for ways to improve and bring something new to the table. Expect bigger displays, more cars, and more fun!"
