On a crisp November morning in 2024, the Hangar 360 aircraft services

And John’s 360 coatings hosted an unforgettable Veterans’ Ride Day at Raymond Airport in Raymond, Mississippi. This event celebrated the service and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans, offering them a chance to experience history firsthand through vintage warbird flights.



Among the highlights of the day was a special visit from the newly appointed Commemorative Air Force President and CEO, David Oliver. As part of his nationwide tour of CAF Wings, Oliver made a stop in Madison, Mississippi to meet with members of the Mississippi Wing of the Commemorative Air Force, tour their hangar, and take part in honoring local veterans.




A Flight Back in Time: Rides in the Historic Bucket of Bolts



One of the most exciting moments of the day came when Oliver piloted the Commemorative Air Force’s C-45 Expeditor, known as “Bucket of Bolts,” offering local CAF wing members and veterans the chance to take to the skies in this iconic Beech 18. The aircraft, which has a rich military history, provided attendees with a unique opportunity to relive the golden era of aviation and honor those who once flew these very planes in service to our country.




Community, Camaraderie, and a Shared Passion for Aviation



The Mississippi Wing of the Commemorative Air Force played a key role in the day’s events, welcoming Oliver and showcasing their ongoing efforts to preserve aviation history.
